After having lived with an old outlook file and a newer, growing outlook file for 2 years, I decided to get a new computer and hoped I could combine the files and avoid creating yet another on the new computer. I ran across the free version of PST Merger, copied both the old and new files and ran the merger and it worked perfectly. Then I renamed the combined file as my email address and moved it to the new computer. Outlook recognized it, so now I have one Outllok file going forward. Very satisfied.

You can easily get out of synch on the chat line. How about something like "Logan typing" so recipient can hold off getting ahead of the conversation. Tom
